Sandslate Films was set up in 2023 in order to provide expert producer and production services in Scotland.

Company Founder and Producer, Sandra Leeming has ten years experience at London's feature doc production house Dartmouth Films, as well as ten years plus Production experience at FulcrumTV, delivering literally hundreds of hours of factual content programmes for all the main UK and International broadcasters.

We want to collaborate with directors who have creative and engaging feature doc stories to tell. We also want to support the endeavours of first time directors.  And, we want to grow Scotland’s feature doc landscape.

 

We have a slate of films currently in either development or production.  Recent feature docs include DOPPELGANGERS3 which had its premiere at SXSW (March 2024) and SILENT MEN which received a "special mention" in the International First Feature Competition at SheffieldDocFest (June 2024).
